SPARTANS
Persian army plans to attack a small group of Spartans (9 players with shields) holed up in the confined central fortress (the red-square, ribboned off area being pointed out in photo above) before reinforcements can arrive. Leader (general) of Sparta and commander of the Hellenic army must proceed fast with his troops to hopefully intercept the Persian army or at least arrive in time to save the holed up Spartans from being shot like fish in a barrel and join in the defense of fortress. Adding to the degree of difficulty are a single sniper sentry from both armies positioned in the path of the advancing opposing armies, so both the Persian army and the Hellenic army must deal with the sniper obstacle, delaying their advance, in a time-critical battle. Points were scored for surviving Spartans who remained within the fortress who never laid down their shields and died. For a boost of confidence, so neither army would be without their fearless leader, both army's generals were able to be resurrected (after being shot could leave the field and be re-inserted to rejoin command of his troops).
